Tracks

The time required for every itinerary is about 4 hours (about 2 into the water) including: registration, dressing up, theoretical lesson ashore, trials in water and transport on mini-buses.

Classical

It's the descent of a part of the river very famous for rafting. From Balmuccia to Vocca or from Vocca to Varallo, with a lot of rapids with suggestive names that can satisfy both beginners and skilled.
Itinerary: from Balmuccia (without Balmuccia rapid) to Vocca, or from Vocca to Varallo
Length: 5 km
Difficulty: medium, with the possibility of a more difficult rapid (Balmuccia)

Sesia gorges

Hydrospeed is the ideal form of transport to explore this wonderful canyon: a succession of waterfalls and still water among amazing rock walls.
Itinerary: from Muro to Balmuccia (nautical centre)
Length: 3 Km
Difficulty: medium

Expert

Very steep technical itinerary rich of manoeuvring rapids, recommended for those who have already experienced hydrospeed.
Itinerary: Piode – Scopa
Length: 7 Km
Difficulty: high

Balmuccia

Trip recommended to adrenalin fans, the classical ride includes the Balmuccia rapid.
Itinerary: from Balmuccia (nautical centre) to Vocca
Length: 8 km
Difficulty: medium to high

N.B. The choice of the itinerary depends on the water level.

Fees

Fees include lessons with Instructor/Guide, local transports with vehicles provided by the Centre and insurance. They also include the utilization of technical outfit and equipment.

Every itinerary, hydrospeed 50 euros

Low season 45 euros
From opening date to 15^th May and always in week days (Mon-Fri) except August.

Personal clothes
Every participant has to bring bathing suit, trainers, long sleeves sweater (better if woollen or pile) and necessary for shower. Consider that all clothes will get wet during the descent.

Enrolment

Enrolment module 2011

Partecipants must be able to swim and not have psychophysical problems. They have to abide to the Center rules which must be signed for approval. Underages must come with a responsible adult.

Partecipants have to book by telephone better some days in advance for big groups and confirm by paying a deposit corrisponding to 1/3 of the fee addressed to:
