Before the actual descent, the instructor gives a theoretical and practical lesson on land and then in calm water, so that all participants know how to safely descend the Sesia River. Our Center provides all the necessary equipment and technical clothing. Monrosa is recognized by the Italian Rafting Federation (FIRaft), and only qualified instructors work at the Center.
When can you go rafting?
The ideal season for rafting in Valsesia is from April to September : thanks to the technical clothing (wetsuit, waterproof jacket, life jacket, and helmet), you'll be guaranteed proper thermal protection in any weather... in fact, it's often when it rains that the fun is greatest! The center is equipped with state-of-the-art rafts and equipment and is organized to accommodate large groups.
